Summary

A Bronze Age bowl barrow situated on the western part of Black Down. It forms part of a wider cemetery. The barrow has a mound composed of pebble-flint and earth, with maximum dimensions of 9 metres in diameter and about 0.7 metres in height. Surrounding the mound is a quarry ditch which has become infilled over the years and now survives as a buried feature 1.5 metres wide.

Bowl barrow 30 feet diameter by 4 1/2 ft high. <3>

None of the barrows in the group has a visible ditch. Resurveyed at 1:2500 on MSD. <4>
