Full Description

SY 60089003. A cropmark of a probable disc barrow, 38.0 metres diameter overall with a 1.5 metres wide ditch and a 6.0 metres diameter central mound, is visible on air photographs. <1>

No remains; area under crops. <2>

A probable Bronze Age disc barrow, 38 metres in diameter, visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs <4-5>. The central mound has a diameter of 6 metres. It forms part of a group of six barrows, including a bell barrow, which together are known as the Longlands barrow cemetery. A possible Neolithic long barrow (MDO3284) may have acted as a focus for the development of the cemetery during the Bronze Age.
