Full Description

SY59129041. A mound in woodland, and a second mound in woodland at SY59159038, are probably barrows. Situated S.E of the main Winterborne Poor Lot barrow group. <2>

A bowl barrow situated in woodland with no visible ditch. A smaller barrow is situated 15 paces to the east of it. These two barrows are not mentioned by Grinsell, RCHM or the OS. This moss covered barrow is located on the top of a north facing slope and is 1.8m high and 21.5m in diameter. Four beech trees grow from the mound and two animal burrows are visible on the west side. 7/2/C
