Summary

A feature recorded during archaeological work in 2010 to evaluate the proposed redevelopment of the site was interpreted as a small quarry pit, probably of nineteenth-century date. Finds from the upper layers of the filling of the pit suggested that it was backfilled in the late nineteenth or early twentieth century; a bungalow was built on the site in the 1920s.
