Full Description

The OS 1st edn 25in map (1871) (1) shows a lodge at the entrance to the drive to a country house named as Jumpers House. The present Stourvale Avenue fossilises the alignment of the drive. Current OS maps (2) show a building which appears in part to incorporate the footprint of the lodge building.
