Full Description
The OS 1st edn 25in map (1871) (1) shows an open, unimproved area of appoximately 12ha named as Jumpers Common. The name suggests that it was formerly one of the commons in the vicinity of Christchurch. It has subsequently been built over or otherwise developed but the name continues to be shown on Ordnance Survey maps.
