Full Description
A gravel pit is shown on a site E of Fairmile Road, Christchurch, on the OS 4th edn 1:2500 map (1933) (1). The 5th edn map (2) shows it as 'Refuse Heap', presumably a tip in the former gravel pit. The site has subsequently been redeveloped (3).
