Full Description

The OS 1st edn 25in map (1871) (1) shows a 'Willow Bed' on the W side of the mill stream which links the River Avon to Place Mill, Christchurch. The site lies at the E end of what is now Beaconsfield Road. The Willow Bed is not shown on subsequent map editions.
