Full Description

The OS 2nd edn 25in map (1898) (1) shows a boat house on the shore at Mudeford, near the present Avon Run Road. A track to the beach from the country house known as Bure Homage (MWX1187) terminated close to the site of the boat house and it is possible that it was associated with the house. The boat house was not shown on subsequent maps.
