Summary

A brewery at Stanpit is shown on a late 19th century OS map. This small brewery was extant in 1842 and disused by 1907. Nos 102-106 are modernised older properties and probably retain features of the brewery buildings.

The Avon Brewery is shown on a site on the W side of Stanpit, Christchurch, on the OS 2nd edn 25in map (1898). <1>
