The OS 2nd edn 25in map (1898) (1) shows a Wesleyan Methodist chapel on Darracott Road, Pokesdown. It is not identified as a chapel on subsequent maps but the post World War 2 5th edn (2) shows it as 'Southbourne Room', presumably a community hall.
