Summary

A water tower built around 1869 for the Bournemouth and District Water Company. The tower is built in red and blue brick in three main storeys. No longer used as a water tower.

Full Description

A water tower is shown on the OS 2nd edn 25in map (1898) (1) on Palmerston Road, Bournemouth, and on subsequent maps until at least the post World War 2 period (2). The site has subsequently been redeveloped.
