Full Description

C - disc tumulus with ditch and bank, Diam between tops of banks is 35 paces. (2)

C. Disc barrow. Mound 33ft diam, 2ft high, Berm 17 ft wide. Ditch 11 ft wide, 1 ft deep. Outer bank 12 ft wide, 1 ft high. (3)

C. A disc barrow: central mound diameter 10.0m, height 0.4m, ditch 3.0m wide, 0.5m deep, outer bank 4.0m wide, and 0.5m high. Grass covered. (4)

‘Poor Lot Group … (23) Disc (59159083) across valley from (22) on S.W. slope of 9°. Overall diam. about 100 ft. Diam. of mound 33 ft. and 1½ ft. but disturbed. Berm, ditch and outer bank each about 12ft. Wide; ditch 1 ft. deep and bank 1 ft. high. Bank ploughed away on S.E.'

Site unploughed with the possible exception of the NE section of the outer bank which is barely visible. The outer edges of the outer bank appears to have been encroached on; the plough creating steeper edges. The central mound presents a disturbed and uneven profile. Other damage is limited to cattle erosion particularly on the SE outer edge of the outer bank (in 3 places) and 1sq metre on the central mound. 1/2/B
