The OS 1st edn 25in map (1870) (1) shows a Wesleyan Methodist chapel set back from the road, behind a public house. By the time of the OS 2nd edn (1898) (2) the site had been redeveloped and a new chapel built nearby on Richmond Hill (MDO32839).
