Full Description

A swimming pool and adjacent sewage pumping station (Poole Corporation) are shown on the OS 4th edn 1:2500 map (1933) (1). They were not shown on the 3rd edn (1925) (2) and are therefore likely to have been built about 1930.

Poole open air pool opened in 1929. It was demolished in 1975 and is now the site of a car park beside an indoor swimming pool. <3>
