Full Description

SY63088666 Round barrow on Bronkham Hill. A probably artificial mound, crossed by a fence, 25ft diameter and 3ft high. Deep gorse prevents investigation of the southern boundary line. <1> <3>

‘Shown as a barrow scheduled as an addition to SAM52 made in 1969, as recorded on the map supplied by the DoE to DCC. Crossed by a E-W fence 12.0m diam and 1.0m high. There is a steep drop to the N of the barrow. The mound is covered in heathland grass and gorse. 1/5/D.’
