Full Description
Hamworthy Park, with pavilion, boating lake, paddling pool, avenue walks and a shelter was laid out on reclaimed foreshore. It was first shown on the OS 4th edn 1:2500 map (1933) (1). The 3rd edn OS map (1925) (2) showed the area as a partly tidal and it therefore probable that the park was constructed about 1930.
