Full Description

A slip with a building, possibly a boathouse, at its landward end is shown on the OS 3rd edn 1:2500 map (1925) (1).The slip was located adjacent to a siding, water tank and building on the adjacent railway spur to the Rock Lea Jetty, with no evident access to it other than via the railway, and it may have been associated with activities at the jetty.
