Full Description
A complex of yards at the landward end of Salterns Pier is shown on the OS 1st edn 25in map (1889) (1). It was used as a coal store for South Western Pottery (2). The 2nd edn map (3) shows a roofed structure on part of the site, which later formed part of the Salterns Works.
