Full Description
The place-name Wytch Passage shown on the OS 1st edn 25in map (1889) (1) indicates a ferry crossing or passage, probably an historic route to Poole from the S side of Poole Harbour. A building at the site (MDO16837) is recorded as a ferryman's cottage.
