Full Description
The present road between Studland village and the ferry crossing at South Haven Point, named on the OS 1:25,000 map as Ferry Road. is first shown on the OS 5th edn 1:2500 map (1) in the 1950s; it was not shown on the 3rd edn map of the mid 1920s (2). It replaced an earlier unenclosed track which ran to the E of the current route.
