Full Description
A rectangular structure marked Clay Washing Beds and fed by a loop siding from the adjacent tramway network is shown on the OS 3rd edn 1:2500 map (1925) (1). The 5th edn (1955) (2) does not record it and the site was then within an area of coniferous plantation.
