Full Description

The OS 4th edn 1:2500 map (1936) (1) shows a 70m long wall and earthwork with a small structure at one end. It lies S of Lulworth Camp on the W side of Bindon Range. Later maps (2) show a mound at one end and an access track. The feature is probably the target butts for a firing range, with the firing position to the N in the vicinity of that shown on current OS mapping (3).
