Full Description
Melcombe Regis cemetery, with a lodge, Episcopal chapel, Dissenters' chapel and 'cloister' is shown on the OS 1st edn 25in map (1866) <1>. The Dissenters' chapel is no longer extant.
Melcombe Regis Cemetery or Burial Ground was created in 1856 and enlarged in 1872. There is a mortuary chapel and a lodge. <2>
The cemetery was considered for inclusion in the Register of Parks and Gardens, but was not added to the Register. <3>
