Full Description
The tithe map (1) shows a mound (possibly two) in a field recorded by the tithe apportionment as Great Barrow. The site is located close to an area of post-medieval quarrying, however, shown on the OS 1st edn 25in map (2), and the mounds could represent dumps of waste or overburden.
