Monument record MDO32204 - Bronze Age round barrow south of the B3078, east of Knowlton Circles, Woodlands

A Bronze Age round barrow is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs from 1971. It appears as a plough-levelled round barrow moderately well defined as a circular, annular cropmark on aerial photographs dated 2005. The barrow is associated with the extensive barrow cemetery known as the Knowlton Circles Barrow Group. It was mapped by English Heritage's Knowlton Circles Project and was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

SO 0310 1041. A Bronze Age round barrow is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs and has been mapped by EH's Knowlton Circles Project. The barrow is defined by a single circular ditch 28m in diameter and is associated with the extensive barrow cemetery known as the Knowlton Circles Barrow Group. <1>

Plough-levelled round barrow visible as a moderately well defined circular, annular cropmark with a diameter of c28m on aerial photographs dated 2005. No evidence for a mound or internal features could be discerned.

The barrow is visible as a 28.6m in diameter sub-circular cropmark on 1970s aerial photographs and was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project. <2>
