Full Description

A possible Bronze Age round barrow, is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs of the 1970s to the east of Watercombe, Owermoigne. The cropmarks are formed of a sub-circular mound with an external ditch on its southern side. The mound is sub-circular and measures approximately 26 m in diameter. (1) This feature was digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
