An area of field boundaries which may be post medieval in date is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of the 1940s to the west of Northground Dairy, Chaldon Herring.

An area of field boundaries which may be post medieval in date is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of the 1940s to the west of Northground Dairy, Chaldon Herring. The boundaries are formed of linear banks oriented north-south and east-west. They are visible over an area measuring approximately 380 m by 190 m. (1) The field boundaries are not visible on the most recent comprehensive photography available to the project. (2) This feature was digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
