Full Description

Fragmentary field boundaries of possible later prehistoric to Roman date are visible as low earthworks on aerial photographs to the west of Holworth, Owermoigne. The boundaries are formed of linear banks measuring up to 152 m in length and visible over an area measuring 215 m by 210 m. (1) The field boundaries are not visible on aerial photographs of 2009. (2) These features were digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
