Full Description
A field system of possible later prehistoric to Roman date is visible as a low earthwork on lidar imagery and aerial photographs to the south east of Owermoigne. A area of field boundaries formed of low, spread, earthwork banks define sub-rectangular fields. An isolated boundary, oriented east-west, lies to the west of the area of fields. (1-2) These features were digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
