Full Description

A block of probable medieval or post medieval ridge and furrow is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1946 on Moigns Down. The ridges within the block are oriented north-south and are visible over an area measuring approximately 170 m by 60 m. (1) The features are not visible on aerial photographs of 2009. (2) These features were digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
