Full Description
A block of medieval or post medieval ridge and furrow is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of the 1940s to the north west of Chaldon Herring. The ridges are oriented north-south and the block measures approximately 200 m by 160 m. The (1) The ridges are not visible on aerial photographs of 2009 and appear to underlie later drainage (see MDO32113). (2) These features were digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
