A probable post medieval chalk pit is visible as an earthwork on lidar imagery to the west of the Five Marys barrow group.The pit is sub-rectangular in form and measures 63 m by 21 m. (1) This feature was digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
