Full Description
A probable post medieval chalk pit is visible as an earthwork on lidar imagery to the east of the Five Marys barrow group. The pit is sub-oval in form and measures 14 m by 10 m. (1) The pit is also marked on the 1st ed OS map. (2) This feature was digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
