Full Description

A medieval or post medieval hollow way or trackway is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of the 1960s to the south east of Upton, Osmington. The hollow way is L-shaped and formed of two parallel banks. It extends from west to east for a distance of 205 m and then turns to the north for a distance of 105 m. (1) The trackway or hollow way still survives as an earthwork on recent aerial photographs. (2) These features were digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
