Summary

A bridge carrying the B3162 road over the river Axe on the county boundary. The single-span bridge was built in 1824 for Sir Alexander Hood. The bridge is of local stone roughly cut and squared, with details in ashlar. The ends of the bridge curve out and finish in square piers of dressed stone.
