A Second World War slit trench is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1947 adjacent to the Old Rectory, Owermoigne. The trench is constructed in a zig-zag shape and flanked by banks of spoil. It measures approximately 40 m in length. (1) The site has now been built over (2) This site was digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
