Full Description
An area of possible post medieval mining spoil, in the form of finger dumps, is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of the 1940s on Warmwell Heath, Warmwell. The possible mining spoil is formed two areas of short linear banks, visible over an area measuring approximately 270 m by 165 m. (1) The site is no longer visible as an earthwork on recent aerial photography. (2) This site was digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
