Full Description

An area of scattered possible prehistoric field boundaries are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs of 2005 to the east of Higher Woodsford, Woodsford. The features are visible over an area measuring approximately 350 m by 210 m. The boundaries consist of: two L-shaped ditches, a south west-north east oriented linear ditch, two parallel north-south oriented ditches and a partial, sub-rectangular, enclosure (1) This site was digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
