Post medieval trackways or field boundaries are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs of 1980 to the south of Brownjohn's Plantation, Crossways. The trackways or boundaries are visible as linear banks, one with an associated ditch. The earthworks consist of: a bank and ditch extending from south to north then curving to the east and forming a U-shape; a bank lying perpendicular to the bank and ditch, extending to the west. The features are visible over an area measuring approximately 445 m by 410 m. (1) This site was digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
