Full Description

A block of medieval or post medieval ridge and furrow is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs to the north east of Fir Plantation, Owermoigne. The ridges are oriented south west-north east and are visible over an area measuring approximately 220 m by 90 m. (1) The ridge and furrow is located to the north of an area of deserted settlement (see MDO1875) and may have been associated with it. This site was digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
