Full Description

A block of medieval or post medieval ridge and furrow is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs to the north of West Fossil Farm, Owermoigne. The ridges are oriented north west-south east and are visible over an area measuring approximately 260 m by 225 m. (1) The ridge and furrow is located immediately to the north of an area of deserted settlement (see MDO31854) and may have been associated with it. This site was digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
