Full Description
Post medieval drains or land improvement works are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs on Stroud's Moor to the south of Ploughman's Coppice, Warmwell. The earthworks consist of narrow, curving, ditches oriented approximately south west-north east and north-west south east. The drains are visible over an area measuring approximately 275 m by 80 m. (1) This site was digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
