Full Description

Probable post medieval cultivation ridges are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of the 1940s to the north east of Owermoigne. The earthworks consist of parallel linear ditches, oriented south west-north east, with a ditch lying perpendicular to their southern edge. They are visible over an area measuring approximately 180 m by 150 m. (1) This site was digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
