A post medieval drainage system is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of the 1940s to the north of Owermoigne. The earthworks consist of a grid system of narrow ditches oriented north south and east-west. They are visible over an area measuring approximately 180 m by 130 m. (1) This site was digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
