The drains lie within and around an area of medieval deserted settlement at Owermoigne (see MDO1873). The drains are visible as narrow ditches oriented predominantly north south and east-west. They are visible over an area measuring approximately 440 m by 375 m. (1-2) This site was digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
