Full Description
A small rounded hollow is visible as a low earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 (1). It is considered likely to be the site of a post medieval extractive pit and was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. It has since been plough-levelled and is visible as a cropmarks on the latest Google Earth imagery..
