Full Description
Two small pits lying within the celtic field system described in MDO8313 to the south of Marley Wood House. They are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs and considered to be associated with post medieval chalk extraction. (1-2). The site was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
