Full Description
Two small circular hollows are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 and 1970. They are considered to be the result of post medieval chalk quarrying.(1-2). The site was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. The features are no longer visible on the most recent Google Earth imagery.
