Three groups of small pits are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 on Bindon Range, East Lulworth. They are possibly the sites of post medieval extractive pits or may be associated with early 20th century military activity. <1>

They appear to have been levelled and are no longer visible on recent Google Earth imagery.

The site was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
